Massimo Alba

In 2006, the company was founded in Milan, Italy. That same year, Massimo decided to give his wife five essential pieces for any woman's wardrobe, a blue peacoat, a camel coat, three pure cashmere knits, and three pairs of trousers. This gift evolved into the collection that was shown in New York the following year. Massimo Alba opened his showroom in Milan's via Corsico 8, 350 metres of open space, one year later, in 2007, to present the collections by hosting clients, friends, and journalists, making them feel at home season after season.

Right from the start, the company has received widespread international acclaim in all markets that have embraced and purchased the collections. Such affinities and bonds between the brand and its customers resulted in a number of collaborations with various department stores, as well as with Mr Porter, with whom the company develops special projects and capsule collections for each season.

Alba is known internationally for having been creative director of Malo and Agnona, and for being the mind behind successful projects such as the one linked to the Ballantyne brand.
